General maintenance of the Hall
One of the most urgent requirements is the ceiling emergency lighting which needs to be replaced plus also the 10-year electrical certificate - as you can imagine both are quite costly items so it will be another fundraising year at the hall

HELP SUPPORT THE HALL
Like every home and business, the Hall has had rising fuel costs, and although we have found ways of reducing our energy costs, our charges for the boiler’s wood chips and electricity have risen sharply recently. It currently costs over £100 a day to run the Hall.
At the same time the rebate we get from the government has not increased. We continue to seek grant funding and have been very
grateful to the Parish Council and the Christmas Fair for helping us to manage so far.
Therefore, to avoid having to close the hall for the winter months we are launching an appeal to seek to raise funds
to meet the rising costs of fuel for the Village Hall.
If you feel able to give us either a one-off donation, or a monthly donation it would help us to keep the Hall open.
If you feel able to contribute any amount, however small, please contact either
Linda Howe (Harlequin Cottage, Church Road, Honington) or Ian Patterson-Parker at the hall.
