Honington & Sapiston WI meeting on Tuesday 18 March 2025

This month we were joined by Jude Law, the volunteer plant record curator at Fullers Mill Garden.

Jude shared the history of Fullers Mill along with a detailed walk through the layout of the garden and provided her extensive knowledge of the unique plants, trees and shrubs the late Bernard Tickner chose to include.
Jude explained how the garden is ever evolving and educated us on the importance of placement when it comes to plants thriving.

We are  all looking forward to visiting in the near future.
Our competition was a flower arrangement in a jam jar, we had many beautiful entries, proving hard to choose a winner!

Jude chose Doreen's miniature arrangement as the winner which had been displayed on a contrasting piece of bark
(pictured below along with the rest of the entries).

During refreshments members had an opportunity to purchase plants Jude had brought along.
