As Easter is round the corner, we invited crafty foxes to come down and show us some Easter crafts. We first heard about Michelle’s expansive career and all of her annual community projects, which we will be sure to look out for in Bury St Edmunds this year.
 
Michelle demonstrated how to blow and decorate eggs for Easter. Everyone was able to make a decoration to take home. We had to choose a colour and could use tape and stickers to decorate. There were some really creative designs made by members and Michelle was able to show us some of her other ideas of designing the eggs that we could try at home, like using temporary tattoos!
 
Our evening finished with Doreen our Archivist, delivering a lovely message in light of international women’s day. Doreen spoke on the women that had come before us at Honington and Sapiston WI and achievements of some our members and former member, one of which is celebrating their 73rd wedding anniversary! 
 
The Evening finished with a competition of an Easter flower arrangement which Chris won.
